Press the Up Arrow.
If you see it there, click-drag it to the left of the time.

You have pressed whatever key or key combination your computer uses to put the computer into Flight mode, sometimes called Airplane mode or Aircraft mode [WiFi off, Bluetooth off]. That's what the aircraft icon means.
Your computer manual should explain how to turn off Flight mode.
When you turn off Flight mode, your WiFi will return and let you connect to your WiFi network once again.

This has nothing to do with up arrows or anything else. Flight mode is the explanation. No ifs, no buts, no maybes.
