Ok... for some reason, MPE won't connect. I can see my phone is connected to the PC in explorer but both the app and the program say that access is denied. I'm not seeing any notifications on my phone requesting access. I was able to use MPE successfully once so I'm not sure what's changed.

I tried going to their support forum but it's all in German and MS Edge translate is unstable.

    Any thoughts or suggestions?

If you can see the phone in File explorer then you have told the phone to allow file transfers. Doing so prevents MPE from communicating with the phone.
Since you are not getting any notification showing on the phone as you connect the USB, perhaps you set allowing file transfers as a permanent choice???

Ok. I'll check settings and make the necessary adjustments and report back with an update.

    Thank you

    Ok. I got it working.

You were right about the default USB setting. Also, there were a few permissions that I needed to enable. A message had popped once that told me which permissions that it needed but it closed before I could read it. Once I force stopped the app and cleared the cache, the message came up again. Once the permissions and USB settings were changed, the connection was made. Seems to be ok now.

    Thank you for your help.
