    Problem with Permissions

I'm trying to access some files on my computer, a folder named D:\Documents, from another computer that has been mapped to that folder to the letter S:.

This is the permissions on D:\Documents:

This is the error I get on the other computer:

Both computers have an administrator user with the same name and password, and both computers are members of the same workgroup.

Both computers are Windows 10 version 22H2 (19045.3324).

That hasn't worked for me on this particular case. This is my settings:

I also didn't mention that I have another computer in my work shop that can access that folder on my computer.

The only solution is to create a cmd file and pass the username and password for the user account your connecting to

    net use Z: \\pc ip\Sharename password /user:admin /persistent:yes

Test from a cmd prompt when it work save a connect.cmd and you can run it when needed

\\pc: is the computer name in this instance it is JIMSOFFICE

ip: the ip address of JIMSOFFICE??

Sharename: the users name and password (which just happens to be the same for both computers)

    net use Z:\\JIMSOFFICE 192.168.1.nnn\Jim xxxxxx /user:admin /persistent:yes

this would be placed in the .bat file?
