OneDrive Tried to upload a big file - how to cancel?

After a day it has processed about 25% (An image file - I just gave it a try)

Likely it would still take a day or two or something to complete.
Right now I have 'Quited' OneDrive as I do not see some sort of cancel button.

Probably when I start OneDrive again, it will continue...

Q: How to definitely cancel the upload, i.e. avoid a restart/resume of the upload?

    Thanks!

One potential issue with cloud synching and backup programs is, of course, handling larger files if you have limited upload speed.

You can, of course, deselect a folder:
Choose Folders for OneDrive Selective Sync in Windows 10
    or disable OneDrive integration altogether
    Enable or Disable OneDrive Integration

You might try moving the large file to a folder not synched by Onedrive.

And (noting you've asked some questions about Onedrive recently) you could consider uninstalling Onedrive altogether and be done with it, as some members have done.

    Thanks again.
Well, frankly, I should blame myself, that's the truth. I should abstain from uploading giant files into the cloud, even as a test. Actually I think I would stumble over the same issue when using any other cloudservice. BTW, It is not the Internet speed (fiber 800Mbs up and down). I should have stored it on some USB drive.
After quiting Onedrive, I noticed my 512GB SSD C-drive was almost full.

    Let's see what happens.

Note that Office 365 comes with 1TB 'cloud space' per account, which, I suppose, would be quite costly elsewhere.

Your internet is way better than mine- 38Mbs down, 9 up. Good enough for my use and even streaming..

    It is [Off-topic] I know...
2Gbps is available here (at a relatively competitive price). Two providers are experimenting with/sporadically offering 8Gbps and 10Gbps (thru XGS-PON) and last year one provider demonstrated 20Gbps.
With this I only want to say that some time in future you may have the opportunity to switch to fiber as well.
Then, remember my words, when possible, invest in future proof fibre cable, like at least CAT7 or maybe CAT8.
The fibre cable I have here may probably handle 2Gbps, but anything above that is a no-go. I should have taken CAT7 at the time.
    Anyway...
    (As said, off-topic)

Thanks- Oh the opportunity's there... but upgrading = rearranging cables/router/ fibre connection in place of copper across the street from a pole... Plus I'd have to pay more. I had a deal for this broadband and phone line and all calls for free for 2 years for about £23 pcm, but that's ended and gone up now. And they'd have to route fibre across the front garden...

BT has a nationwide plan to replace all last-drop copper wire over the next few years anyway. Quite what that would man in practice for fibre to the cabinet users I'm not sure.

Amazon's Fire TV stick works well even on 38Mb/s. And I don't need to upload much...
