Any workaround as to how to keep track on OneDrive on demand files

    I'm not sure this idea follows the original question. OneDrive files have the option of being synced (local file copy) or held in the cloud. This allows users to save disk space by not mirroring every file of their account. If you force OneDrive client to provide sync copies, then those local files are indexable.

    While you now have a searchable index, your OneDrive files are no longer placeholder copies. Some users are fine with that, others don't want that happening.

    OH... to add... all my OneDrive files are in the cloud, not on my local HDD. As noted in my original post. They are all searchable now using my fix, thankfully.
