    Internet download improvement


    Help an oldtimer Will a gigabyte router wired through a gigabyte adapter to a USB 2.0 port work?
    Will it overcome the limitations of an old adapter in an old computer?

    Cannot tell you without knowing what adapter the old computer had, what you are paying for Internet Download speeds.

    Usb2 is slow cant you get a new network card or even if the router has wireless a usb wifi adapter
