LAN is out - W10 March 2023 update and two clean installs - no LAN

After the March 2023 W10 update, the PC and two laptops on my LAN do not see each other any more. I got something back intermittently, but yesterday there was another update, and now everything is blank again.

I had to do a clean install on the PC, one laptop is new and the other is older and used to work good with this LAN. The advanced sharing options are as they should be, no passwords etc. Workgroup names are ok.

In windows explored, under the network item, I also do not see my own pc mentioned. I can see the Wi-Fi printer though.

Mostly, I manage after some time to get it working again, but this time not.

All machines are running latest updates on W10 pro. All have wired connections to the router, also the laptops. The router is an Archer C7, working perfectly.

    Any suggestions?

Interesting. On another forum I saw the remark "try network reset". I did this, and now I at least I see my own PC in the network window.

    Still no other computers

    Was that via a Script [ .bat, .cmd, .ps1 ] ?

No, just right-click the internet icon in the taskbar, go to network sharing centre and completely at the bottom of the status page is "network reset".

Consider me with my jaw on my feet. I reset the network in the other PC as well, and now both machines can see each other, share files, and they show up on their own network window.

I wonder what this reset does to make this work, and why it does not work automatically after an update.

Samuria: correct, internet works perfect, they just did not see each other or themselves on the network page of explorer.

I just tried this other way, maybe did it wrong but nothing showed up.
