    Firewalla Gold/ Netgear c7000v2 Royal screw up


    I bought a Firewalla Gold when they 1st came out. I never could get it to work. I know, I shoulda come here..
    Anyway, I foolishly decided to try again. To run it with my Netgear c7000v2 I'm supposed to put the c7000 in bridge mode. The only option in all the settings was to turn Router mode off. I did. Now I was smart to back up my settings to the desktop. Guess what - a shortcut exists, but no .cfg file. Beautiful.

    Bigger woes is that I can't log in to it. Even after resetting the c7000 it doesn't show up trying to log in to it. I get a 404 error. File or directory not found. I am hardwired to the c7000, not wifi. I am on my desktop typing this, but the desktop can't talk to the router. Really lost. Any takers? I wouldn't blame anyone who didn't. smh

    ipconfig in cmd and get your routers IP it will be default gateway ip. 404 just means it cannot find it most likely because you typed the wrong ip.

    Thanks for chiming in. 192.168.0.1 is what the router says it communicates on. I tried it and .1.1 multiple times to no avail.

    You will see in this list that the Firewalla is not compatible in "Simple" mode with the c7000v2. Security check
