Here's a good one.
Have a USB connected SSD Drive hanging off the router.
When the main directory is displayed, I see the "System Volume Information" folder on it.
Tried hiding it - all to no avail.
Ideas welcome.

Make sure that "system volume information" has BOTH the System and Hidden attributes set.
You can verify this from an elevated command prompt with this command:
attrib "D:\system volume information"
Make sure to substitute the correct drive letter in place of the D: I used above.
I have a usb HDD being shared by my router. I see exactly the same as you. None of the files or folder ntfs attributes can be seen, modified, or have any effect. All files/folders are visible whether or not they are hidden when the same usb hdd is connected directly to a Windows PC. The only attribute visible to the windows client is the Directory attribute.
I can only surmise that this is because the router is running a Unix-based OS. It is unable to process the ntfs attributes and make them available to Windows when it connects to the share.

Another problem that I have is with my Sabrent NVMe SSD enclosure via USB to the router in place of my USB connected HDD.
Formatted for NTFS as a single 2 TB volume, it first appears to work correctly.
However, one I start copying a file over a few megabytes I see this:
There a a few variables here - the enclosure, NVMe, cable and of course, the router itself (and the Linux variant OS in it.)
Has anyone seen this before?
Of course, my USB attached 2 TB HDD works fine.
I was able to get rid of the folder by first renaming it, then deleting it. I doubt it matters but I renamed it .info in case that makes a difference.
