PCIe Network Card on Z97X G3 MB

    PCIe Network Card on Z97X G3 MB


    Hi, I am running an ASUS 2.5gb Network card and when the computer boots, it may take up to 5-10 seconds for the machine to access the net.
    I have checked in the BIOS and all UEFI settings are enabled and the Net card is only 18 months old. I have a private network and my machine has a IP address from the network. I guess I am just asking if this is normal or????

    I guess in the scheme of things it isn't a TERRIBLE problem just annoying.

    Running Win 10 Enterprise
    32Gb Ram
    1TB 870 SSD
    And a GTX960

    It Could be a Windows thing... as my network port only goes active several seconds after booting to desktop.
