WiFi and Ethernet - Both present

I have both Ethernet and WiFi on my desktop, and both work well with speeds of 210-220Mbps Ethernet and 180MbpsWifi....which is plenty for my use.
But are there other criteria that make one or the other preferable?

Same with my laptop, both Ethernet and Wifi.

    Hello @NTN,

Ethernet should always be faster as it is a direct connection and is NOT prone to interference that may affect a Wi-Fi connection. Wi-Fi capability also depends on how far your Router is away from the computer of course.

The speed is more than good enough for both.
My antenna on desktop is about 4m away from the router, so that is not any problem either.
Could there be other criteria too..except interference?

And of course latency...if you play games.

Windows will always use Ethernet over Wi-Fi priority by default.

Windows uses the Automatic Metric feature to determine the connection priorities.

    Is this the right order..?
Anyway, there is almost no noticeable difference.

It doesn't double it, but...you may get some extra yes.....At least if you have Intel.
