    Can't map / access shared folder and/or (network) drive in PE


    I am talking about Macrium PE or Windows PE. I was trying to map that shared folder and/or drive in Macrium PE to no avail.

    What's strange is that in the normal OS (not PE), I can access them just fine.

    Scenario explanation:: I have a laptop and a desktop computer. The drive and/or folder are shared on the laptop via the network. In the normal OS, I can access them from my desktop computer just fine. However, in PE, I can't seem to map either of them.

    By default windows will pass the username and password your logged in with to the pc which is why you can connect with pe your not logged in or a different name if you connect via cmd prompt passing username and password it shoud work
