Wired internet but no connection on laptop

    60% is not great, but if that works for you, that's good. I'm getting a lot better performance than that. Out of curiosity, are you connecting the USB Ethernet adapter to a USB 3+ port and not a USB 2 port? Performance will suffer when using a USB 2 port.

    I am connecting to a USB3 port, but I am suspicious of the USB plug which is the blue colour, but lacks the extra connections that USB3 have over USB2.
