What cloud storage are people here using these days?

I'm old school, and make local backups of everything. Of course, that loses the convenience of having content in the "cloud" (essentially just a fancy name for network storage), where you can access it anywhere. I don't travel much these days so it's not a big deal. But in any case, I've been considering perhaps leveraging cloud storage for some content that I'd like "off site" just in case. AFAIK, there's quite a few out there. OneDrive, Google Drive, DropBox, etc...

Naturally all of these come with some free storage, but it's limited and then you're on the hook for paying a monthly fee. I actually don't mind that *IF* its very generous and with no insidious hidden rate increases based on criteria not presented upfront.

What do folks here recommend getting for some reasonably priced cloud storage solutions?

I backup Locally, and use Google Drive for free. Depending on how much data you want to store,

    Or even "earlier," timesharing.

Interesting, but not that useful, since Backblaze isn't mentioned. Nor Dropbox or OneDrive, etc.

Many actually offer a lifetime licence if only onedrive would have such a deal, it is worth especially during the Black Friday, I got 1TB for $80 on IceDrive 4 years ago, the speed is great, I got 800GB in a few hours, videos play instantly. I use it as a cold storage with the portable app, but it can be integrated into Windows as another drive.

200gb storage for lifetime and for free you also get many other features this can be used for anything from game server to self hosted VPN to cloud storage. The options are really endless here. The only bad part is you have to input banking details which is annoying.

Too bad that all my disk partitions are many times 200 GB.

How much storage space do you need?

The best deal is to lease MS Office 365 (60 per year) and you get 1TB onedrive space included. Office can be active on up to 6 devices simultaneously.

For an extra 20 a year you can have up to 6 users each with own 1 TB space (and each can have 6 active installations of office 365).

So for 80 /year you can get 6 TB. OK, you would have to setup several accounts to use all the data yourself, but very cheap.

Try3 gets right to the point, with the most important question ... as usual.
