    Can't connect PC to Wifi..

and I have run the troubleshooter, and other devices including my laptop I am on now is connecting to the wifi just fine.

The problem started about 2 weeks ago, PC disconnecting. We did have a rather sudden electrical outage and PC was on. I am not sure what else to try, but I can't find which of my Network adapters is for the Wifi card so I just made sure all were updated to the latest drivers.

Not sure what else to try at this point. Can someone help me figure this out? I could only get a snapshot with my phone so it isn't very good, for the the info on my PC. Let me know if you need more info on the PC and I'll see what I can do:

Ok, that didn't work. It's an HP Pavillion, Win 10 Home 21H2, AMD Ryzen 3 2200G, 16 gb Ram, 64 Bit. If you need more, I will be happy to find it for you. Thanks in advance for any help.

You can try Reset network adapters. I believe that at the end of the procedure you must reinstall the latest wifi driver.

If that's a laptop, and it had a battery in it, I wouldn't have expected the power outage to have had a huge effect.. unless there was a really bad voltage spike, perhaps.

    Please advise.

If, for some reason, your PC was suddenly powered down you should check your disk (3rd party tool e.g. Hard Disk Sentinel - SSDs too- excellent- functional trial); if ok then run
    chkdsk c: /scan
from an admin command prompt and check it passes.
    If ok, similarly run
    SFC /SCANNOW

I'm already into the reset for now, we'll see how that goes, but if it doesn't work for some reason, will I still be able to try your test?

If your PC was abrubtly shut down, then yes, those checks are basic and totally independent of the specific Wifi issue.

The electrical outage must have done it, but it was gradually slowing down, and losing connection randomly, so I'll know next time. I am on a surge protector but evidently that wasn't a big help.

Well, when I got out of the shower, it was off again so I guess I could try to other fix and see if that works. Sure wished the easy-fix would have held, I'm getting too old and tired of fixing this PC. I got it in 2018 and seems like there's always something going wrong on it.

This isn't a laptop, but my laptop does have a battery and I keep it charged. I've got some errands, but when I get back I'll take a look at your suggestions and try them as well. Now I can't download the 3rd party 'ware, so have to use a USB I guess, bbl

I've got this downloaded, says it's not registered but I think it will run anyway. How do I find where to select chkdsk c:/scan? And once I do that, where do I run SFC/SCANNOW? Just don't know the software, apologies.

Restarting the router/modem to see if the connection comes back and stays.

You have to try the command lines of dalchina + this one: Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
If this command finds a corruption then it is necessary to do this one Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth .You must be connected to the internet, connect the computer in ethernet if you can, or from this tutorial do step 6 or 7 to make another command line without internet(It's more complicated): Use DISM to Repair Windows 10 Image

Last there is a Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade, you won't lose anything except the installed windows update.

Ok, so the dachina just runs in the background while I type in command prompt. I'll try it. BTW, yours are the best help today itsme1, if your stuff doesn't fix it, then I'll google it. Thank you for your patience and kindness, much appreciated :)
