PC doesn't detect any wifi on startup

I have a newly installed w10 on ssd, with TP-Link TL-WDN4800 802.11a/b/g/n PCIe x1 Wi-Fi Adapter. Whenever I restart my PC, about 70% of the time, there is no wifi and the taskbar has the globe icon. I have to click on "Wifi" to disable it, and then re-enable wifi, and then it finds all the networks again and connects to my wifi. Very annoying. I've already unchecked "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" for the network adapter under device manager, and switched my power plan to maximum performance. This seems to only happen on restarts; when I first start my computer for the day it doesn't seem to happen.

Any ideas on what to try next?

Where are the antennas installed for the wifi card?

On the back of the PC, pointing out. I don't think it's an issue with the wifi's antennas, because when I connect to the wifi it is a very strong connection. And again, about 60-70% of the time my computer starts with wifi connected no problem. I have to click on the "wifi" button to disable and re-enable wifi for it to connect, seems like an annoying windows bug.

Try turning off fast start from power menus.

I should have stated in my OP, I tried this as well to no avail.

Also to note, fast startup apparently "helps PC after shutdown. Restart isn't affected".

My problem seems to always be on restarts, when I do a fresh boot it doesn't happen.

    Yes, you are right.

The only thing I can think off is try different power shutdown types e.g. modern standby etc.
