Hi,

The VPN with my Norton 360 package is causing my Comcast email some issues on the Windows Mail app. When the is VPN on, the Mail app says "Your Comcast settings are out-of-date". It works fine with the VPN off. In fact, sometimes it works with the VPN on, sporadic.

I am attempting to use the Split Tunnel feature, by adding apps to be excluded from the VPN. Windows Mail application resides in C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft .windowscommunicationsapps_16005.14326.20970.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe. I added all the executables in that folder - HxOutlook, HxAccounts, HxTsr & HxCalendarApplmm to the Split Tunnel, but it did not help.

Program Files\Windows Mail & Program Files (x86)\Windows Mail only contain Address Book apps (wab & wabimg). I added them anyway, did not help.

I see articles stating the settings and data for every installed Store app are saved under "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Packages\PackageFullName". I do have a folder named "microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps_8wekyb3d8bbwe\Local State" there with Windows Mail files, but nothing I can add to a VPN.

Am I doing anything right? Any ideas how to exclude Windows Mail on a VPN?

Windows version 22H2 (OS Build 19045.2130)

Thank you
