It is impossible to answer this other than saying they might.

It all depends on strength of signal, distance, what type of walls etc. etc. etc.

What do you need it for? If your home wiring is all on the same circuit you could just use a home plug system.

It depends on signal strength. I have an extender sitting in my bedroom window which pushes my WiFi out to my travel trailer in the driveway which has a second extender that covers the trailer. My Orbi mesh system came with one satellite extender which covers my living room with a strong signal.

If you have a weak WiFi signal at a location, an extender can be used to provide a stronger signal.

    Hi folks

NightHawk extender -- gives up to 1.3 gbps (faster than a 1gbps LAN) - uses full duplex (a lot of wifi uses half duplex) and concurrently runs both 5 and 2.4ghz so maximizing traffic where possible or necessary.

Range is a good 100 metres -- also has 4 LAN ports so ideal if you have devices with no wifi nics -- just run ONE Short cable from device to a cheap 4 / 5 port switch, and a SINGLE Lan cable to one of the ports on the device.

job done !!! - I even use this with an old laptop where the internal wifi card is slow - old 54mpbs - use usb->lan adapter - short cable to switch - now I'm even getting from that old laptop over 500 mbps over the Internet.

Keeps "She who must be obeyed" happy too -- as I've cleared out a few lan cables by the router cable box !!!.

    Cheers
