There Should Be a Way to Update My Broadcom 802.11ac Network Adapter

Is there a way to update my Broadcom 802.11ac Network Adapter? Its driver year is 2016. There should be a more modern version of this network driver.

You can use the free program Speccy, to see the make/model of your motherboard, then go to the manufacturer's website and check if there IS a newer driver.

    Speccy - Free Download

    Here is mine, for example...

One thing I wouldn't do is just update a driver because of the date. If the driver is giving you problems, then sure.
But otherwise... if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Not necessarily- on this laptop I have drivers from at least 2006...

There are various drivers listed here:

    - but it depends on which is compatible.

What specifically are you hoping to gain by any update?

When all is well, attempting to update manually causes more problems than enough. Please don't be tempted to use 3rd party driver updaters - there are threads here referring to them as 'snake oil'. A better one of those might be useful if you have a missing driver on an old device which can't be located any other way.

In your specs you have: Motherboard: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 ??

The old adage "If it ain't broke, don't fix" often applies to drivers. Is there a particular reason why you want to update?
