WiFi has issues only on one computer, but works on every other.

But nearly every single weekend I experience network issues, like the connection just randomly dropping out, network becoming totally available requiring a reboot, etc. Again, this ONLY happens on my work laptop.

Check for possible wireless interference.

You mentioned the problem seems fixed by changing the location of your laptop. So I assume either the wireless interference or wireless disconnection with any physical obstacle cause this issue.

Occasionally getting connection error such as error 718 the connection to the remote computer was terminated. Sometimes like the remote computer did not connect etc.
