Transfer data files to/from Samsung Galaxy S22 & Win10 using WiFi?

    Hello

Is it possible to copy data files to/from my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra (running Android 12) and Windows 10 using WiFi?

If so, how do I do so? e.g. Do I need a special app?
My problem is that I do not have a USB Type-C connector on my Window 10 computer.

    With thanks

    J

i'm also interested in this since i could never figure out yet how to share content with devices on the same network , ( like a home network with devices connected with wifi and ethernet to a router )

think that's what OP is asking yes ?

YES! Exactly that. I want to copy & paste data within my home WiFi network.

    Background
My PC doesn't have BlueTooth (although if pushed I suppose I could fire up my old laptop which does).
Also I don't completely trust random apps, even if they are downloaded from Google Play.

Over Wi-fi, yes, but not networking as in between PCs.

I've added wi-fi direct to my previous post.

Thanks. However there is no mention of WiFi Direct in my "ipconfig /all", so I guess that won't work.

A few years ago I used "Total Commander" for android, it uses among others smb2(and smb3), dropbox, ftp... Go to the plug-ins of the app. to install the ones you want. There is a small time to adapt to the operation of the interface.

Samsung My Files allows you the ability to colbert to network shares, but you have to initiate file transfers from your phone.

I also use the Windows 10 app called Phone Link to connect to my Samsung S21. I use WiFi and Bluetooth to connect to it. If it is not already installed you can get it from the Microsoft Store.
