Anyone know of any software/application which can be installed on a small home network (5 PC’s) that will allow me to control services/settings on all of them from one place… No need for server. The following things I’d like to control would be the following:

    – custom windows login legal message/disclaimer
    – install apps
    – control settings

Any ideas? Preferably free/open source… If pay ware is the only option then perhaps I’d buy it if it was under $100.
just searched out of curiosity and found this which looks kinda promising?

I believe you need a server for that to be used?

Yup... It requires Active Directory With Access CALs. Windows Admin Center is optimized for Windows Server 2019...

It's designed for managing a single server or whole clusters.

But it requires also in-box and RSAT tools to work.

Funny how I use it on my home network without a server, but I guess I am special.

Nope. Just a standard network with multiple computers on it. I'm on vacation now, won't be home for a week.

I'm tinkering with WAC right now.

Biggest issue is trying to add the other PC's. it never seems to find them - I've used the hostnames and IP addresses.

When you get back, I would be interested if you could take a moment to expand on how you do it and what can be managed ?

    Thanks !
