@Callender - when I enter one of the run commands, the DOS box opens only for a second. How do I make it "sticky", i.e., the DOS box remains open, visible, until I close it?
Never mind, I remembered an important step: Right click on the DOS box icon, run as administrator, and that box will stay open until a close command is given.
For the benefit of the general audience: RickC posted: Add the RUN command to a new text file in Notepad then add a new line then add PAUSE as the last line. Save the file as .BAT rather than .TXT then run the new .BAT file. The PAUSE command will keep the console open.
