    vpn-client issue solved

    Hi there
    @Compumind

    Finally solved it

    1) change protocol on server config from udp to udp 4 as no IPV6 support required and if not specified it "gets knickers in a twist" on Windows client

    2) (took ages to find) -- stupid clocks different on server and Windows client -- server 3 hrs ahead so certificate not yet valid. !!!!

    Bonkers -- always these stupid things catch people out !!!!!

    but thanks for your effort.

    cheers

    You're welcome, mate.

    Interesting solution.

    UDP4? You must mean IPv4?

    Hi there

    In the server config file where you specify keyword proto - that's where you set it to udp / tcp - and the udp4 option rather than udp specifies IPV4 addresses but use udb protocol rather than tcp.
