Some Miniports does not show in Networking...

If you go to Device Manager and select "Show Hidden Devices" then expand "Network Adapters" You may get a little more info on where they came from and their uses. You will also find out how many Miniports are installed at the moment in your computer. Mine is running 15 in addition of the "Real" Network interfaces.

Hello.. Yes I did. One driver showed up as WireGuard. The other showed up as OpenVPN. I do have windscribe installed which is a VPN. But a while back I had Windguard standalone program installed but I uninstalled back then. Now all I have is the Windscribe firefox extension for my browser.

Since I uninstalled the standalone program, I dont know if this is a remnant of that of maybe its part of the firefox extension which I dont think it is cuz I've never heard of any browser extension installing virtual networks.

Let me know what you think.

Uninstall (Remove) the FF extension and see if it goes away. Quick way to find out.

The problem with that is its a real hassle trying to set it up again and theres no ability to backup.

Windscribe advertise their software as "Free VPN and Ad Blocker" there is big chances it would install a virtual adapter.

do a backup, uninstall it to see (it will probably delete it, like Malok says it will be there). Then just restore if you want. No hassle.

As for Windscribe I think 'Windtun' is the Windscribe extension and the other is the installed Windscribe.
