Thanks. I did update the folders including adding text to one of the files. I'll look into it more tomorrow. The server tells me on wrap that it's listening no errors. No firewalls. It's odd. Doesn't see the machine though.

Thanks, I used teams. Works well as an alternative
I apologize if my post is irrelevant or has been addressed already - I didn't read the entire thread since the answers I did skim over knew their shizznit. Looks like you're in good hands... but I wanted to clarify something in your original post:
How DARE you talk ill of Windows!! LOL I'm kidding... my real reason for pointing this out is... I have and still do use Remote Desktop to control a Windows Home computer on my local network. It's true that Windows Home isn't capable of Remoting into another computer, but itself can be controlled remotely. The stipulation is that the machine launching Remote Desktop has to be Windows Pro or whatever other versions support it. :)I then discovered Windows 10 home does not allow remote desktop which was annoying.
I don't know why everybody in this thread ignores the fact that it's impossible to make RDP work on home edition.
I can control other computers from Windows home just couldn't control it. Although from everything I've read, including other forums, it is possible.
