    How Do I Change Default Link Sharing Permissions on Onedrive?


    How do I change the default link sharing permissions on onedrive to disable editing by anyone. I dont see that option anywhere in my onedrive settings.

    Use the right-click context menu


    Setting permissions in OneDrive sharing dialog can be a bit tough to find. I have included here three screen shots showing the steps.

    That does NOT change default link sharing permissions on Onedrive

    You are correct. The steps provided are for each document share process.
    To adjust the Defaults for sharing via OneDrive, perhaps something can be found here that will help:

    Dude I have a regular microsoft online account but not a sharepoint account. Sharepoint is used by orgs or co's. I'm neither. Nor am I a sharepoint admin or have 365 installed.

    When I try to log in with my regular microsoft credentials into the sharepoint link it doesnt recognize it cuz I I'm not a sharepoint admin.
