I have got Desktop with win10 Pro @ home and my work laptop which is windows 10 prof as well
I was looking to map my desktop drive to my laptop but the message that I am getting is error message is :
Windows cannot access \\DESKTOPGREEN
Error code 0x80070035
Does that because laptop have admin restriction ?

First have you setup a share. Second you must give the share you want to map is \\desktop\sharename if it still gives the error use IP ie \\192.168.1.21\,sharename

From my work laptop I did try to ping the desktop but ping failed !!!
I disabled domain and private firewall still failed

From memory in past I had connected a computer to a shared folder and both PCs they had different workgroup names. ,,,,but I wasn't sureIs it in the same workgroup if not it wont show up
Today I did a test from the work laptop which is differently not the same name as my home workgroup name and I tried a desktop at home by changing its workgroup name both of them were able to connect to a shared folder!!!!
The issue was ESET Internet Security blocking connections for my work laptop and others desktops at home
The ESET is installed on the same computer where shared folder is located ,,,,,as soon as I disabled its firewall everything worked fine.
Now I need to figure out how to enable the exceptions for home PCs to access the shared folder
