wifi disconnecting repeatedly on pc but works completely fine on phone

hi so im actually begging for help at this point. ive never experienced problems with my wifi on my phone or my laptop or any other device, however on my new pc, every five minutes it seems, the wifi disconnects. i've tried basically everything to fix the issue; at first i thought it was the wifi adapter so i updated all drivers, and changed the setting where the pc can turn it off after a while but still that didnt work. ive made sure that the wifi is set to private and ive tried unistalling and reinstalling the driver but still it refuses to cooperate. when the wifi does disconnect me, im unable to instantly reconnect aswell, when i try to reconnect it usually says unable to connect to this nework a couple of times until it finally allows me to reconnect. i dont think it's an issue with the adapter, because one time i got so annoyed, i decided to just use my phone's hotspot and it never disconnected then. ive literally scoured the entire internet for solutions but nothing i do will fix it. its really becoming an issue due to how frequently it'll happen.

Is your new PC in a different location than previously? If not then have you installed any mirrors or metal surfaces nearby? Both of these can affect Wi-Fi.

How far is the PC from the router? Does the PC have a WiFi antenna port to attach an antenna?

With some routers, you can increase the transmit power.

Are you using a VPN? Change the protocol to TCP.
