Password reset on remote computer using RDP

Does anyone have a solution for resetting a password on a remote computer that has network level authentication enabled (NLA)?
I am aware that you can lower the security setting on the remote PC and use a custom RDP shortcut to get logged in (Forced password change at next logon and RDP | Microsoft Security Solutions), but I am trying to find a way to reset the password without changing the NLA setting.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

You need to have Administrative privilege in a open session on the remote computer to make these changes.
Forcing PW change at next logon wont give you the current one.

If you currently have an working admin account on the remote computer, the easiest way is to use it to reset the unknown password.

Beyond this you need local access to the computer to be able to boot a windows installation media to create a new Admin account.

If you are schema / domain admin in a AD domain use the AD Console to reset password...

Right click on the user name -> Reset Password.
