Copying files to NAS want to eliminate properties lost warning message

I have a drive letter mapped to a shared folder on my NAS. I can copy files from the NAS to my computer with no issues but when copying files to the NAS I always get a warning message about losing file properties. I can ignore the warning message and the copy to the NAS works fine but I want to permanently eliminate seeing the warning message.

I understand why the warning message is generated as I am copying from a NTFS file structure to a non NTFS file structure. I have no control of the file structure on the NAS so I cannot format it as NTFS.

I see numerous other people have asked this identical question on other web sites (including Microsoft's) after being frustrated by encountering this warning with no answer.

Is there a Registry tweak that eliminates this warning and just let the copy process go straight through?

Perhaps you could create a batch file to copy files to the NAS and redirect output to NUL?

    e.g. copy c:\myfiles\*.* d:\ > nul

I could do a number of things but I do not want to screw around with batch files or alternative file managers (Robocopy).

I am looking (like many others) for just a simple solution to turn off the worthless irritating Windows warning message so I can do a Copy through File Explorer.

I have never seen such message when copying to a non NTFSvolume.
Has it to do with the assigment of a drive letter?
Did you try to copy to a shortcut of the shared folder on your PC?
    Same message?

Do you get the message when copying to a FAT formatted USB stick.
Is it possible that the message is generated by the NAS OS?

What brand is your NAS? I have a Qnap NAS and do not get this message when copying files to a mapped folder on the NAS.

I'd wonder if the messages are being prompted by the interface in the NAS box rather than the drive itself. I have 2 x 2TB WD My Cloud drives being accessible by Linux and Windows, used to when I had a MacBook and the format of them was reported differently by the different OS. It also could answer the question of why file transfer to a NAS seems to be a bit slower than to a USB drive connected to the computer.
