Wireless connection between laptop and monitor

I have a Dell XPS with windows 10 and a Samsung 32" curved monitor. Currently they are hardwired with HDMI cord. Is there any possibility they could be connected wirelessly. My PC is physically too far from the monitor so wire is stretched out and I also like to use the HDMI port to connect to a TV so my customers can look at the display on TV. Best Buy gave me a device with two adapters to be connected on each side but it was slow.

Any ideas/suggestions are welcome and thanks for looking into it.

    Hi,

Probably the Balun they sold you where very inexpensive ? Or your cat6 cable is made of copper clad.

Copper clad cables are an ideal, cost-effective means for transmitting signals over short distances. However, the longer the distance, the more likely signal loss will occur.

If you don't require above 1080p, these are very good.

    Amazon.ca

And you can feed one TV close-by and two remote one over cat6 with this kit.

You absolutely need "Pure Solid Copper Conductors" for any of these extender to work properly.

That would ensure good stability and ease of use. Compared to any kind of WIFI setup you could make.

Hello. I have used these systems many times, but, as the guy plugging into someone else's system who used them.

ClickShare - Wireless Presentation & Conferencing - Barco

They are technically portable but have a little box that connects to HDMI and power. About the size of a router.

As an option, many smart TVs can be wirelessly projected to. Use Win+K to bring up the project menu and see what appears. I get a list of my neighbour's TVs when I do that. One thing to point out, some TVs have bad lag, this is not a problem if you are not using the TV and using your laptop screen whist customers looking at the TV. Or if you are just clicking through presentations the lag isn't an issue.

    connecting to monitor only

I only need to connect my PC to the monitor wirelessly - Is there a way - I dont want to connect the monitor using the HDMI wire. I dont do conference calls - My customer sits right here in my office. My goal is to connect to the monitor wirelessly and connect the TV to the PC using and HDMI cord for customer to view sitting there.

Hello, so, you have one HDMI output and you want to show this on two displays? You have a monitor, for you, and a TV for your customer?

Provided they both have the same display size (1080 and so on) available, the cheapest solution would be an HDMI splitter. It sends the same signal to two HDMI leads, both displays need to accept the same signal.

Wireless HDMI and DVI interconnects are readily available. (DisplayPort versions seem to be out of stock, but DP to HDMI adapters are readily available.) They seem to be limited to the "entertainment" resolutions of 1080p and 4K. See, for example, Amazon.com

I have no personal experience with any of these wireless adapters.

    Sorry I had loging problems.
In answer to the monitor question bu Malok - yes it is a Samsung curved monitor.

in reply to Selden's post - I can use a HDMI splitter but my monitor is far from splitter, and it will be nice if the monitor is wirelessly connected - I checked the adapter at Amazon it is out of stock but my question is 'Will there be a delay in mouse response if I use these adaptors' or are they as fast as hard wired connection. Thanks
