    Hi there

    @timlab55

    If you want to create a simple reasonably secure webserver - especially if using Linux (and it can be on a VM too) simply add APACHE, MySQL (or MariaDB -- same code these days, and PHP. Secure the MySQL DB access, ensure your firewall is working and you are in business -- should be safe enough provided you set up the MySQL / MariaDB users securely enough. You can test also locally before actually putting it out on the web.

    MyPHPadmin is also a good check

    For more info on LAMP (and you can do similar on Windows via WAMP but it's a bit more fiddley) : This documentation is for UBUNTU but any Linux distro is the same essentially for this stuff.

    How To Install Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP (LAMP) stack on Ubuntu 18.04 | DigitalOcean

    One other thing I didn't see, my ISP charges an extra $10.00 monthly for a static IP address which probably would be good if I were to do my own Domain hosting.

    Hosting a web site on your home computer? Big risk!

    Instead just buy service from a hosting provider. It's VERY CHEAP these days. And they do a better job than you or I can.

    For very few bucks you can rest assured that no one will be hacking your home computer.
    Let the hackers try to hack the provider instead.
