Would suggest you disable Windows handling updating drivers. You gain back control. If you are interested.

    Windows + R keys
    Enter Sysdm.cpl
    Click on Hardware tab
    Click on Device Installation Settings
    Click on No
A menu appears (first time) click Never Install driver software.
You may get a warning. Click the option that says I’ll take care of it (not exact words)

Unfortunately this is not enough. You must also block the driver update using the show/hide tool that hides unwanted updates (so they do not install with the others). This is really useful for blocking unwanted driver updates. Until there is a newer update that replaces the one hidden, you are safe.

    in run box type ncpa.cpl
and let us know if you see Network connection icons if no, reinstall ethernet drivers if yes what does it say, (unidentified, No access etc)
Are you directly connected to Modem or is there a router is between.
I have the exact same issue, and it says "Network is not identified", and I have a router in between.
I already have tried reinstalling the driver, flush dns but nothing works. I have had this problem before, but it resolved itself, and now it popped up again.
All other devices, other than my PC have internet connection

Hi seba6560. Welcome to the TenForums @seba6560

When you say you have the exact problem could you share some details.

What is your PC, what type of connection are you using, what is the make and model of your NIC (adapter).

When did this start, what version build of Windows are you using?

When you said you re-install driver, was this the same driver version number or di you go back to an older driver and confirmed it installed correctly?

Might I suggest as this is a really old thread that you start a new one and outline the information I requested. Thanks
