Hi, I am assuming the PC is the one in your specs (people sometimes ask about a different one and don't say so, alas).

That is shown as running Windows 11.

If so, you should join elevenforum.com and post there. This is tenforums. (Windows 10).

This tutorial (the Tutorial section is invaluable- and huge- do feel free to search and use it) tells you the requirements and how to check if your PC meets them:

Check Miracast Support on Windows 10 PC

Have a look and see if you can identify which criteria, if any, your PC does not meet.

If it in fact can, this may help:
Install or Uninstall Connect Wireless Display Feature in Windows 10

And finally here's how to use it.
Connect to Wireless Display with Miracast in Windows 10

    Pete,

    Welcome to TenForums.

Once you have your current concerns resolved, it's really worth making time to browse through the Tutorial index - there's a shortcut to it at the top of every page.
    - At the foot of the Tutorial index is a shortcut to download it as a spreadsheet.
    - I download a new copy each month.
    - By downloading it as a spreadsheet I can benefit from Excel's excellent filtering capabilities when I search for topics of interest.
    - Tutorials are also listed by category at Tutorials - there's also a shortcut to that at the top of every page.
    - Both tutorial lists are searchable.
    - You can also search for TenForumsTutorials in many general search engines, such as Google, by adding site:tenforums.com/tutorials after your search term. For example,
    taskbar toolbars site:tenforums.com/tutorials

You can search TenForums using the search box in the top-right corner of all TenForums webpages or using Advanced Search - TenForums
    - You can also search TenForums threads in many general search engines, such as Google, by adding site:tenforums.com after your search term. For example,
Search for drivers by HardwareID site:tenforums.com
    - [This is what the search box in the top-right corner of TenForums webpages does automatically]

    Pete,

Your Version of Windows went out of support three years ago.
Windows 10 Home, Pro EoS - MSDocs
Dell state that your computer is compatible with the latest Version
Dell computers tested for ... [latest version] and previous versions of Windows 10
[They stopped saying that about mine after Version 1809 but I'm now on Version 21H2 so yours ought to be fine until 2025]

Tutorials will generally not have old versions of instructions for such old Versions of Windows.
They will generally refer to the latest Version with additional notes to help those running a couple of previous Versions.

Do you even get Windows Defender [WD] definition updates any more?
By the way, in current Versions of Windows it's called Microsoft Defender [WD].

Why haven't you updated to a later Version?
You could use a current Version's "ISO" file
Download Windows 10 ISO File - TenForumsTutorials
    to run
Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade - TenForums
[which does not affect your installed applications or data although full backups & a system image remain advisable preparations]

    Pete,

Have you been updating your hardware drivers & Bios?

Use your Dell Service tag to refine this search before downloading anything

Sounds like you paid attention to what happened to Nero and his fiddling.
