    Wifi automatic disconnect

    Hi
I am on Windows 10. After a recent hackers attack, who stole $ 6000 from my bank account, I usually disconnect the Internet manually when I no longer need it, in order to keep hackers away as much possible, but I often forget.
For added security, Is there a way to have the Internet disconnected automatically after a certain period of inactivity say 1,2, or 3 hours..? It seems that it is posssible only to connect automatically, but not to disconnect..

    Thanks

If your machine connects to the internet via Wi-Fi (not ethernet cable) then some routers allow you schedule when the Wi-Fi switches ON & OFF. Example here: - How to set up Wireless Schedule on your TP-Link Router? and also https://www.linksys.com/us/support-a...icleNum=140821 .

If your current router does not support this feature then it may mean changing your router for one that does.

If you connect to router via ethernet then this will not apply to you.
