Can't even see currently mapped drives

    Hello:

My wife and I both have Win 10. I have her drive D mapped on my computer. Works beautifully. How did I do it? Can't remember.

Now, I wanted to map my wife's E drive. Made sure it was shared (right-clicked E drive > Give access to > Advanced sharing > Sharing tab > Advance sharing button > Checked "Share this folder" > Permissions button > Full Control).

So, on my computer, right-clicked This PC > Map network drive > Select drive letter > Browse (Folder) > Box Browse For Folder > Under Network, Desktop-XXXXXX#, only my Windows Users (Default, [Name], Public).

No trace of currently mapped drive D (my wife's), nor the drive I just made shared (my wife's E).

Now, on my computer, Change sharing option for different network profiles, under "Private", Turn on network discovery checked! Same for "Guest or Public".

One thing: It says "Guest or Public (current profile)". That seems a little fishy. It also has "Turn on file and printer sharing". Fishier?

How come I cannot see my wife's drives? What can and should I do to rectify this?

    Thank you in advance,

    Hans L
