Hi Group, I just had a major disaster with my network. 5 years it worked flawless. Then I was connecting a new printer and it just disappeared. not a trace that it ever existed. Windows wont let me create a new one. A new network comes out with ""forget"" in the name line. and clicking on ""forget makes it go away. instances of ""windows command processor"" pop up. Any ideas will be appreciated. W 10
Hi, group , Thanks for the reply. I am trying to create a new network. When I get to the point to choose a router, my router does not appear. Not sure what to do next. I have rebooted my router.

Open a cmd prompt type
Ipconfig /all
Post results make sure it shows that you are using dhcp if not turn dhcp on reboot
Thanks, I have this as a txt. file. Can I upload it here? But I can see that DHCP is enabled, in 4 different places, I think.
To be clear, in case it matters, the network disappeared before I started downloaded the printer drivers.
