That's exactly the same speeds I have right now. It's just that my actual speed is always higher (download speed that is) than the specified speed. Even with my previous speed of 25MBps, I always get between 40 & 50MBps.

Ours is not the best speed, but I am just happy I got better speeds that is cheaper than my previous one. :)

Is it the specified speed on your internet service package?

The specified speed is upto 2 meg

During the day it is usually between 1.5 and about 2.1
During the evening it is usually 0.4 to about 0.8 (this sucks)

Good news is that private companies are working to get a lot of places onto fibre (ISP's don't care about upgrading in rural areas), so this time next year should be on a min of 20

Ok. I just asked because I thought you're just having issues with your router. When I upgraded my service, I wasn't getting the specified 10MBps upload speed. It only goes up to 2MBps. I called my ISP and they don't know what to say. So I opened up my router's configuration page and there, the QoS (quality of service) feature was set to 1.9MBps. After changing it to 25MBps setting, problem solved. My upload speed is now what it's supposed to be.

When I got my upgrade to 50Mps I had to get the latest router from Comcast or I would have not received the higher speeds. Good thing was the new router did cost anything to upgrade to it.
