Looks like Xfinity has finally updated (eg, fixed) their speed test page:

    http://speedtest.xfinity.com/

Now, you have to test IPV6 nad IPV4 on separate runs. I prefer the older version:

On FIOS fiber optic. Can't imagine how to cope with OneDrive if my up speed was a fraction like most providers.

CenturyLink tells me 3 Mbps is the max (and only speed) available to my location. I guess I shouldn't complain.

Wish I could. This is reminiscent of Dial-Up and a 56k Modem. Cable company is probably faster with broadband, but they can't keep the TV on reliably. To Century's credit, over a lot of years the only times it's been down has been major disasters. Following Hurricane Rita, they were up and running before the electricity was back in.

Wherever there is cell phone service, there's possibility to have cellular service internet. Could be slowest, GPRS than 3G, 4G with 5G coming up each one with increasingly higher speeds.
Right now I'm using 4G system with theoretical speed of 150Mbps but my plan calls for 40Mbps although mostly exceeds 50 or 60 Mbps. It may slow down a bit during work days when many connect to same cell antenna. If I put that SIM card in my phone and take it downtown it hits over 100Mbps.
I'm surprised you don't have something like that available where you are.

Only a couple thousand people here and we're far enough from a population center of any size, we're lucky to have direct dial service. Such is life here in Hooterville.

I feel ashamed to post this

Yes I know it sucks don't hate. Funny thing is we only pay for 10. Also, the upload speed is not usually that high, it's usually 3 or less I just got lucky at this particular moment.
