Your maximum speed is still limited by your Ethernet adapter on your computer. To see what the maximum speed is:

• Select Settings
• Select Network & Internet
• Select Change adapter options
• Double-click on your adapter

For example, if I double-click on my adapter "Ethernet 3" I see its maximum speed is 1 Gbps (1000 Mbps)

My actual speed as measured by Speedtest is about 950 Mbps.

My humble internet speed test.

I am sure everyone knows: it is worthwhile to change servers whilst testing. It may get astonishing results sometimes.
As for me, I have a 700Mbit/s fiber. The 700Mbit/s is -both- ways. I usually get a little bit more than that.

Did some Ookla testing just now.

Definitely bandwidth shaping on the part on my ISP. haha. for the most part, downloading anything is very speedy.
