Traffic management on p2p networks, but i don't use p2p so it's all good, also if i download more than 50GB during peak hours, it gets slowed by half, but then again, i'm only downloading steam games so it's all good lol

50GB download? Man, your IP address will on a hot list of internet police... :)

I try to space out my downloads over 5GBs just not to create a pattern and avoid being watched. But for Netflix usage, it should be fine.

My bad, it is only upload speed that's reduced, and only if I upload 2.25GB, Can't seem to post links right now, i'm guessing it's because of my post count, if you google "virgin media traffic management thresholds" and click on XXL152, it'll tell you what I can and can't do.

I never seen a download of that size, can't even imagine anything that big in one piece so I presume he's talking about monthly cap.

Well, maybe 50gb a day but still too big just for a day. At his speed, he can download 50GB in about 5hrs or less.

I see that you have not exceeded 300GB in a month. Though I started out with 80GB a month and I rarely go beyond it, I guess my new 320GB cap is like unlimited already. :)

This is mine on Rogers :

A little slow tonight and the ping is terrible.
Ping is usually around 7 to 10 and the speed
should be closer to 130ish. If your wondering
about the uploads well, Rogers is keeping
everyone at that speed. It seems they want
    to prevent Torrents.
