    Ongoing Internet Weirdness

Recently I posted this thread about internet issues i.e. I would randomly not be able to access the internet.

I let it sit for a week. That problem has disappeared but a new one has taken its place.

Now the internet is fine(ish), I just can't access it right away. By that I mean: I click on a link/shortcut and I first get this:

    Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to ABCDEFG

    PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the web site owners to inform them of this problem.

Then I refresh the page and the site comes up as normal. For normal browsing this is doable (though annoying) but it gets tricky with, say, banking where refreshing the page can end the banking process. Other weird things too, like I can upload videos to youtube but not to Dailymotion.

What could be causing this? This problem (from the first thread) started about a month ago. Frustrating as I don't even know where to start. Please help.

    Flush the browser cache.

Change the FFox DNS settings ...
Settings > General > Network settings (scroll to bottom of General section) > Settings > tick box Enable DNS over HTTPS > use Cloudflare. Close and restart FFox.

Refresh Firefox: Toolbar / menu / Help / More troubleshoting information - look at the right side of the screen

You could also try with making a new profile..
