How to install a remotely connected printer after KB5005565
I need to figure out how to connect to and use shared printers connected (by USB) to a remote PC in my office.
Now, before you send me to this tutorial here:
Add Shared Printer in Windows 10
please note that this method of installing the printer, which is technically called "Point And Print", is broken after the installation of Windows Update for 21H1 KB5005565. There is a security exploit in Point And Print that is being closed.
The update breaks the connection for this particular configuration: Printer connected to Computer A with USB, remote clients connect and print through Computer A.
The security fix does not seem to affect connecting to remote wireless printers, or printers connected with Ethernet to the router.

I believe that I will need to install the printer drivers on each client PC before they can access and use the printers on Computer A.
That , in itself, will be a challenge since one of these is an old printer and the driver software is not compatible with Windows 10.
What I'm trying to figure out (in advance) is how do I do it? And once I get drivers installed on each remote PC, what would be the procedure to "Add A Printer" from the Host PC afterward?
Just trying to plan ahead. I can always do trial and error.
The reason I believe I will need to do this method is contained in this KB article from Microsoft here:

I have uninstalled KB5005565 and everything is working fine again. I have paused updates but that is just a temporary workaround. I would rather not override the security with the registry hack. I want to find a way to get this particular configuration to work after installing KB5005565.
