when I get to the where it says(after right clicking it ) I see the uninstall aft that I have the option to uninstall or not if I do that I is know where where there is box to delete, bottom line this does not work (yet) for me.
I have done this now twice I still have to manually input the password every time no matter what so far. See where I am confused is I never have the option to delete driver. The first time I did it
Hello Philip, I had the same issue, Win 10 home and no check box.... still just uninstalled it, rebooted and the issue was solved. When I look up my adapter in the device manager it is STILL THERE, or there again?, without needing reinstallation. It appears it's just resetting it. hope this helps, altough i'm a bit late here.

I'm new to forums, but wanted to say thanks as this fixed my problem too. My laptop was transferring photos to a wireless hard drive when I just watched the transfer speed drop and then stop. This has happened a couple of timesin the last few weeks. When trying to reconnect to the hard drives I find I can no longer connect to the wifi. The dialogue box always reports that something has changed and that I need to re-enter the wifi security key, but it never seems to be accepted. I tried restarting the laptop, the hub and the hard drive, but the only way I was initially able to reconnect was doing a system restore and I've only had the laptop for a month. I have just found this forum and uninstalled the wireless adapt or as described. On entering the wifi key after a reboot the wifi connected straight away. I hope the loosing the network connection isn't going to be a continual thing, but at least I now know a quicker fix if it does happen again. Many thanks for this post and the solution.
I've got similar problem. I can't connect to a network, getting "can't connect to this network" message, even when i write correct password (I could connect to that network before, the pw was saved). I tried to forget this network and connect again, but it's not working and it's always asking to write the password again. Also when I connect to other networks for the 1st time, after I write password it's asking me if I want to allow other computers in this network to see mine pc. Unistall and reboot didn't help.
EDIT:
Disabling IPv6 solved my problem.
