I feel your pain, thorrrr! I am running Win10Pro v.21H1 (OS Build 19043.1288, almost the same as yourself. Back in 2017 when I built a Freenas Box AND updated to Win10Pro at the beginning of that year, both OS's were playing with each other fine. When the Creator's Edition emerged in August 2017 (I think!), all that went away. I spent hours posting to this forum, received many helpful hints, tried numerous "solutions" and NOTHING got it back. Since that time I began using Filezilla FTP for those transfers to my storage NAS (Freenas) which had no trouble interacting between the two boxes. But Win10 . . . no cooperation OS-wise!

After about 4 years (!) and earlier this year, Windows pushed out one of their updates and VOILA! Freenas appeared again under the network tab without any effort on my part. Now--after one of the latest updates--GONE AGAIN!

Sorry I can't answer your problem. We're paddling the same boat. But maybe someone else more knowledgeable will respond soon. Luckily, I still have the FTP to make those transfers in the meantime.
