Windows 10 disconnects Wi-Fi randomly, Ubuntu on same laptop doesn't

    Hi community,
I am facing a pretty silly bugs with my wi-fi connection on Windows 10.
Basically, Windows just disconnects from my home wi-fi (just a few devices) randomly, sometimes every minutes, sometimes 15 minutes. Sometimes, it re-connects automatically, sometimes I have to do it manually. When it happens, I am just surfing social network. I feel like when the connection is lost, the Wi-Fi menu is laggy.
The video can illustrate the problem (at around 0:05, 1:05, 2:16) Wi-Fi connection isn't stable - YouTube
    My system information:
Dell XPS 9570, latest BIOS and drivers (checked by SupportAssist from Dell), Windows 10 21H1, build 19043.1165 (Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3530.0)

The Wi-Fi analyzer from Killer Control Center. (mine is "Wifi Nguyet Minh")

    ---------
    What I have tried:
    1. Running dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
    2. Resetting network by going to Network and Sharing settings > Status > Network reset
    3. Uninstalling network driver (intel Killer 1535) and re-installing with Dell version. Actually, windows automatically re-installs exact driver version from Dell (12.0.0.1118)
    4. I have Ubuntu dualboot and the network works like a charm.
    5. Trying with another Wi-Fi in my house (weaker signal), problem still happens.
    6. Resetting my modem (and I have to setup my WAN connection again), choosing static channel (channel 1), 20MHz bandwidth

Hope to hear your solution or something to trace back the cause other than re-installing my Windows. Thank you.

As you probably know it is a discontinued product with no further drivers offered
Customer Support Options for Discontinued Intel(R) Killer™...

It was always - buggy according to reports

    You can try this -

but my advice is to buy a usb wireless adapter - you will have better performance than with the 1535 even when it does connect.

    May I presume that
    Running dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
    reported no errors.

Earlier drivers were generally less problem prone, it would appear, but windows will update the driver - if you did choose an earlier driver.

The fact it is OK on LInux is not really any relevance to it not beng OK on Windows 10.

as the Linux will use the base Qualcom driver.

I should say the Dell support thing actually works! I have used it for the whole day without trouble. I just don't understand what 08 - 11, 09 - 11 are, but I guess it relates to channel, right?

Pleased to have helped if that Dell troubleshooting suggestgion on the link I sent worked for you.

No it is not channels -
There is a channel 12 on the 2.4GHz band there are actually 14
In the 2.4GHz band with a channel width of 20MHz, there are 14 defined channels spaced every 5MHz. Channels 12 and 13 are available in countries outside of North America. Channel 14 is for Japan only and is spaced at 12 MHz

But your card is 2.4 or 5GHz capable and of course channels on the 5Ghz are for practial purposes numbered from 32
List of WLAN channels - Wikipedia

    The reference to the 7-11.
8-11 etc and 12-11 refer to the 802 protocols
You will note that they all include 11
    IEEE 802 Standards

Thanks for your appreciation. Hope it stays fixed.
