Intel NUC Firmware update

I would like to upgrade my firmware on my Intel NUC computer.
can I do that without losing my OS (Windows 10) and data?

What is the model of your Intel MB?
A firmware update is done on the lowest level. Nothing will change on the main drive.
A BIOS update, on some computers, can be done under Windows or under BIOS setup.
I don't know if, on Intel MB, it can be done under BIOS.
If you have the option to do under BIOS, don't do it under Windows.
If you only have the option to do under Windows, close all programs and disable antivirus.

Yes, you can update the BIOS without losing anything on your harddrive. I just upgraded my 2 Intel Nuc's this past week as well with a new BIOS.
