    skylum.com not loading properly

From the title, you might think I'm referring to a problem with the skylum webserver but, as I can reach the site and navigate within it from another PC, I'm thinking I have something misconfigured on my machine. Once at the skylum site, a click on any link just loads the same page again. I've tried alternate browsers and get the same result. I've also tried creating a new (local) user, logging in, and find the same issue on all browsers. Here's a screenshot of what I see:

    I'm running Windows 10 21H1, OS 19043.11521, Experience Pack 120.2212.3530.0

BTW: The skylum.com site always redirects to the link you see in the picture (on all machines); on my other PCs (and Mac), the website appears properly and may be navigated.

I thought I might have picked up some malware but both Malwarebytes and Windows Defender find nothing.

My VPN is off. No other websites (AFAICT) have this issue.

As always, advice gratefully accepted. Thank you!

    Barry

Edit: I can reach the Skylum update servers from within Luminar and the Luminar AI installer worked properly. As well, The Rakuten Chrome add-on popped up it's notification on the site so that's working okay.

That address of Luminar AI - AI photo editing for Mac & PC | Skylum is opening fine in Edge, Firefox, SeaMonkey and Vivaldi but your image [appears to be of Edge] is showing only .htm/.html, not the images associated. Might try updating Edge, latest is 92.0.902.62.

Nope; Edge is updated. Problem is with all browsers - Chrome, Edge, Vivaldi. Even installed Firefox (2 minutes ago) and got same result. It's not just that the pictures aren't showing; all the links, when clicked, end up back at this page. Happens with a new user on this machine so it seems to be a Windows issues rather then a "user" issue.

I'm doing a backup of my entire user folder and will then reinstall Windows (assuming no one else here comes up with an answer).

    What I've done so far:

I tossed Luminar 4 (having just installed Luminar AI successfully which requires Internet access to the Skylum servers). I then went through my registry and looked for anything with "Luminar 4" and deleted those entries. I restarted and still no luck.

I have another wifi network here on the same gateway and tried using that one just in case there was something quirky going on there. Nope; no luck. I then went over to my other PC, disconnected from the wired connection and tried the wifi (same wifi I use for this uncooperative notebook). No problem with the wifi there. So I guess I can eliminate anything from the wifi outward to the Internet and to skylum.com

Samuria: You, sir, are a Prince among men. I had some spurious host entries related to skylum's various servers; probably due to trying some software from a dodgy source. Once I deleted the entries and rebooted, the problem went away.

You saved me from the task of reinstalling Windows.

When I was a Mac guru, I always checked the hosts file. Must be getting old. *grumble*

Thanks again. Be well and stay safe.
