Hi, does the NAS require that you enable SMB1? Some do, I gather.

Are all your PCs running Win 10? (That's not essential of course, just to understand your scenario better).

    Thank you for your reply.

Q1 not answered, so if you can access the NAS from a PC with SMB1 off, it follows it doesn't need to be on on any.

Could the problem PC previously access the NAS?
When did the problem PC stop being able to access the NAS?
Has the PC in question received an update the others haven't? Are they all the same build?

You can review settings on the PC vs one that works- I assume you've done that.
Tutorial available on configuring network sharing.

The only time I have had issues with my Ethernet-connected 2 x 2TB NAS drives is when clicking This PC then trying to Map a drive. If a drive isn't shown in the Network section of File Explorer I get a message about turning on Network Discovery and File and Printer Sharing. SMB1 doesn't seem to be involved now. I did have to do it on only 2 Wireless Notebooks [out of several] after a Router change last month.

SMB1 is not required provided all devices are Win 10, but jimbo advised it's necessary for some NAS's - not all- that's the point I was covering.

If SMB1 isn't required, most definitely disable it.

At times I've had occasion to have WinXP, Win7 and Win8.1 computers connected, haven't tried with the Vista Notebook last couple years and I know the MS-DOS/Win3.1 Laptop won't work on it.
